NYC Smooth Skin Sunny Bronzer

I Picked up this bronzer on a complete whim, as the bronzer i was using decided to crack and go everywhere which as you can imagine was a complete mess haha, so i went on a little trip to Superdrug and tried lots of different ones but they all seemed to be either too dark or too orange. I then saw this which is the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder in the shade "Sunny", and i remembered everyone used to love this  a few years ago but at the time i could never get hold of it, i swatched it in the shop quickly and it seemed quite a good colour so i bought it and thought i would just see how i go with it and as it was only £1.99 it wasn't exactly going to break the bank if i didn't particularly like it.

The NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder gives your skin a sun-kissed yet natural looking bronze glow and what's great about this product is that it is completly matte which is so hard to find especially with highstreet/drugstore bronzers, So if you wanted to use it for contouring then you can not a problem. The "Sunny" bronzer is extremely buildable without making you look orange which is never a good look, so for those who like a really bronzed look then this is great for you aswell as those of you who, like me are on the pale skin side and just want a natural glow.

For those who want to see how it looks on the skin here is two pictures of it on me, i used it all over with a light hand for an all over bronzed look

I absolutely love this bronzer and once its finished i will 100 percent be buying it again. For the price i think its amazing and would pay alot more for it if i had to.

MUA Lush Lilac Nail Polish

So nail polishes have always been one of my crazy obsessions and i'm pretty sure i have way more than i should have but still i buy more and more haha! However i love when i find one that is not only great but is also an extreme bargain.
This is the MUA (Make Up Academy) nail polish in the shade "Lush Lilac" and i am in love with it, it is the perfect pastel lilac-pink. It applies quite sheer but is very build-able and with 3 coats you can get a lovely opaque finish as pictured above, pair it with a clear top coat and it is amazing. Its even, smooth and shiny.
Chip resistant wise its pretty good, i had this on for over a week and it hardly budged but i did have false nails on so i don't know how long lasting this would be on natural nails but you should be able to get atleast a couple of days use out of it,probably more with a good topcoat.

The packaging is small but sleek and as many of you have probably noticed has a huge similarity to the Essie nail polish bottles, weather that was done purposely or not i'm not sure but either way its not a bad thing, especially if your comparing the two brands as the MUA nail polishes retail at just £1 each where as Essie nail polishes retail for £8 each. So if you love a bargain then i definitely recommend you trying some of these MUA polishes, and for just £1 you really can't go wrong.

You can purchase MUA from the following websites:

Collection "Does It All 5 in 1 Mascara"

What Collection claim/say?
"Collection Does It All Mascara is our first 5 in 1 mascara that really does it all! Your mascara wish list is now a reality with new Collection Does It All Mascara! With its enhanced multi-bristle brush and five way formula; curling, volumizing, lengthening, long-wearing and conditioning- this mascara really does it all!"

I bought this "Collection Does It All 5 In 1 Mascara" quite a while ago now but wanted to give it a real go before letting you guys know my opinions on it. I picked it up because i'd heard a few people say its a great dupe for the Benefit They're Real mascara as the wand itself is very similar with the short rubber bristles. However in my opinion its slightly more 'clumpy' looking on the lashes than the benefit they're real but its still really great and has rapidly become one of my favourite mascara's. It separates the lashes nicely and adds an amazing amount of volume for a dramatic night time look with 2-3 coats or a great everyday look with just 1 coat.

Now that i've had this for quite a while its started to dry up quite alot but it is still applying just as great as it was when i first bought it which is unusual as with most mascara's they tend to get alot harder to apply and can sometimes feel like they're tugging on the eyelashes.
The one thing i'm not too keen on with this mascara is the packaging,  i think it looks quite cheap and tacky but for only £4.99 you can't really expect too much haha!

Overall i think this is an amazing mascara especially for the price, so go out and pick this up from your local Collection retailer, i guarantee you wont be disappointed!

I know we are well and truly into spring now but i've been seeing so many spring type photos on pinterest that i thought why not share some of my favourites with you! As you can probably tell, im all about the pastel colours this spring :)

These are some of my favourite spring picks from pinterest,
What sort of things do you love about spring?

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine "Sugar Apple"

I've recently gone nail polish crazy and i'm especially loving the pastel colours at the moment so the new spring pastel colours that Barry M have released to their "Gelly Hi Shine" range really interested me. In my opinion Barry M do some of the nicest nail polishes around, the colour range is great and the formula is amazing and the best part about them is how reasonably priced they are at just £3.99 each.

The Gelly Hi Shine range is extremely pigmented, dries quickly and is super easy to apply, after two coats you get a beautiful opaque, shiny finish. The point in the gelly range is that you don't need to apply a topcoat, however i normally apply one anyway just to be on the safe side to make it a little more chip resistant. "Sugar Apple" is a pale mint greeny-blue colour which happens to be one of my favourite colours so i definitely couldn't resist picking this up. If you haven't tried "Sugar Apple" yet then i recommend you check it out, i know pastel colours aren't for everyone but i personally love them. Huckleberry (a beautiful pale blue) and Rose Hip (a pale pink) were also added to their gelly range, which i am also excited to add to my ever growing Barry M nail paint collection.

So what are your favourite Barry M nail polishes? Are you loving pastel polishes as much as i am?

A Week In Devon ♥

I recently had a week away with my family and boyfriend, and we was so lucky with the weather that i got the chance to take some lovely sunny beach photo's so i thought why not share them with you guys. We went to North Devon which is one of my favourite places to go, its such a lovely place, the people are always friendly and its a great place to just sit back and relax with beautiful beaches and scenery to enjoy. Especially if you live in a built up town or city like i do, its nice to just get away from normality and enjoy the seaside for a while.

Review │Urban Decay Black Market 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil Set

I'm not sure if you can buy this set all year round as i got this as a present for Christmas last year and haven't really tried all the different shades out until recently so now that i have i thought i would let you know what i think. So lets get straight into it. You get this set of 6 "travel sized" eyeliner pencils which retails for £26 which in my opinion is actually very reasonable for six pencils.

Review │Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

So when i recently went on a little shopping spree i picked up this, which is the "Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge" by the famous beauty youtubers "Sam & Nic Chapman" also known as Pixiwoo. Ive actually had this before but for some reason never reviewed it. So as i needed a new one i thought i would take the opportunity to let you guys know my thoughts on it.

Beauty Haul │ L'oreal, Rimmel & More....

I've recently done a bit of shopping, seeing as boots had 3 for 2 on most things beauty related, i thought i would take advantage of it because who can miss the chance and getting something for free haha! There's also a couple of things from a few other places such as superdrug. I'm not going to go into any detail about anything i bought as I'm going to be doing separate reviews on most things anyway. However if you want to know anything in particular about any of the products then just comment or something and I'll be happy to let you know.

Review │Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

So i know I'm really late on the bandwagon with this one, but i have been wanting this "Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette" for so long but i never seem to be able to part with the crazy amount of money that this costs, which is £37 so i decided last year to ask for it for Christmas and lucky for me i got it :). Now I've been using it for a few months i thought i would share my thoughts with you.

Review │MUA Cosmetics Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer
